How do you connect with this theme?
With my project's theme of bringing awareness to the mental health crisis among minority groups, as being apart of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I have fallen victim to mental health issues. I know how it feels to have slurs thrown my way, being hate-crimed, and having people make assumptions of me just from me being my true authentic self. It is time to break the stigma and show people how these hateful words and actions can effect someone's entire life for the long run. |
