Based in Philadelphia, "Expanding on Health" is a modular, mobile health system designed for Philadelphians with restricted access to health care because of socio-economic imbalances. With the ability to collapse and become mobile, a truck would deliver these modular health centers to locations in Philadelphia with high populations of in-need residents. The expanding health center allows for various spaces for individual meetings, group meetings, and single person privacy. Bringing health care to people would raise-awareness and help an ongoing social issue in the city.

The project is designed to directly aid people in need, but also raise awareness for a long-occurring social issue within the bounds of the city. With some of the best health systems in the country, Philadelphia brings in people from long distances because of the care provided here, but the people that can see the hospitals from their window are often unable to get the care they need because of these social imbalances.

Why is creating change important to you?
Change is refreshing. After seeing these cyclical events and social issues happen again and again the motivation to change starts to deplete. When the change occurs there's new life to what that change is affecting and most times its for the better. - Daniel Habeeb |
