Cars provide individuals with the convenience, comfort, and freedom to move around quickly without waiting for transit. However, with so many cars on the street and heavy reliance on it, the subsequent need for parking lots has grown significantly. These lots cover almost one-third of the total city area in some cities, making it the predominant landscape. My thesis focuses on how these parking lots could be used to design the upcoming development which could benefit the current and the future generations at site and city scale.
